The Product & Services Team is part of the Intelligent Data Management organization in PDT. We play a vital role in delivering trusted data to the business through giving data purpose, establishing data standards with the Business Process Owner and ensuring that data flows are managed across the entire SAP process and system landscape. This is the foundation on which the team operates.

It is a diverse team consisting of Product Managers who drive mainly strategic topics and contribute to critical projects; Product Managers work hand in hand with IT Product Owners by conducting root cause analysis and implementation of data quality rule and Data Operations colleague working on day to day business issues via central shared service framework.

The synergies are evident – since all people in this team, work towards an aligned strategy and closely collaborate to get business critical issues solved and by that individual jobs delivered.

Summary & Role Information:

In this position you support business and IT with the alignment on business topics concerning Material Master data for License products.

The working environment is cross multiple teams - IT, Architecture, Process Owner & Data Object Owner – you will translate business requirements into meaningful solutions, improve data models and business rules. You will work closely with the Data Object Owner conducting root cause analysis, defining solution proposals and drive issues to resolutions. You will act as an enabler for IT delivery teams, deep diving into data management, internal data processes and systems, as well as helping our team building trust in data with stakeholders. You will also support the execution of strategic programs.

We welcome your curiosity and interest in building up strong subject matter expertise knowledge around Material Master.

Responsibilities also include the following:

• MM (Material Management) consulting for internal processes and business teams
• Support governance activities for the SAP Store and E-Commerce low-touch process
• Intake issues and requirements from various roles of the ecosystem, conduct root cause analysis (primarily from business/process) and drive solution design / implementation together with Business and IT
• Support IDM’s Data governance tasks in the team for our License solutions
• Act as Master Data Expert towards Business and IT
• Support our Compliance related audits together with your License Data Management team colleagues
• Own and execute strategic or tactical work packages
• Liaise with supporting teams in a regular trustful relationship

What you bring

• + 2 years’ experience working in the software industry in Business Process Management, Master Data Management or Business Operations
• Basic SAP ERP knowledge, ideally in Material Management
• Knowledge on SAP’s Product portfolio
• General understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance of IT products
• Proven track record in delivery of project
• Good understanding of the as-is data and enterprise architecture coupled with technical skills such as developing or modelling data
• High level of enthusiasm for devising new scenarios, investigating, prototyping and operationalizing; ability to understand and structure complex situations
• Good skills in our IT systems (CRM, CPQ, Jira)
• Fluency in English; good German language skills
