Position

Customer Support Representative German Speaker

Location: Malta (Hybrid)
Schedule: 07:00 Midnight (rotational shifts)
Start Date: 7 July 2025
Work Model: Hybrid (initial training onsite, then mix of office & remote work)
Net Salary: 1,400/month (German language) + bonuses and benefits

About the Role

We\'re seeking a native or C2-level German speaker with strong English (B2+) skills to join our customer support team in Malta. You will help customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring excellent service and timely issue resolution.

You’ll start with onsite training to immerse yourself in the company processes before transitioning to a hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer support in German and English through various channels
  • Resolve customer issues following company guidelines and policies
  • Provide accurate and clear information about products and services
  • Record interactions and update customer profiles
  • Escalate complex cases when necessary
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in all communications
Requirements
  • Native/C2 German + B2 English
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
  • Ability to work rotational shifts between 07:00 Midnight
  • Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Willingness to attend onsite training in Malta
  • Criminal record clearance OR two references from previous employers upon arrival in Malta (mandatory to start)
Salary & Career Progression

850 basic salary

  • Career progression: Level premium increases as you move up:
  • Level 2: 250 premium Total 1,900 gross/month
  • Level 3: 300 premium Total 1,950 gross/month
  • Level 4: 375 premium Higher salary and responsibilities

Taxes: Social contributions are deducted only from the 850 basic salary; premiums are not subject to social contributions in Malta.

Government bonus: ~130 gross, paid quarterly (March, June, September, December).

Flight ticket reimbursement up to 200 (after 6 months)

Real estate agency discounts for accommodation search

Possibility to relocate with partners/children (costs for relatives not covered)

Relocation Information
  • No additional relocation package for candidates already in Malta
  • For candidates relocating from abroad: Must arrive 7 days before start date to complete hiring documents
  • Must work onsite for at least 3 months (exceptions for those with housing and confirmed internet)
  • 3 weeks accommodation in a hotel (candidate only; relatives at own cost)
  • Up to 300 relocation support (paid with first salary)
  • Flight reimbursement after probation (up to 200; only for the employee)
