Your mission at Plantura
You are the engine of our warehouse. While others plan, you execute. As a Warehouse Supervisor at Plantura, you are the first point of contact for our team on the floor. You ensure that our organic fertilizers, seeds, and delicate beneficial organisms are professionally packaged and leave our warehouse right on time. In this role, you are a role model, a hands-on leader, and a problem solver all in one, playing a vital part in maintaining our high quality standards—even during our busiest growth phases. This is your role:
- First-Line Leadership: You provide operational guidance to the team (permanent staff & seasonal support) directly on the floor. You manage station assignments and ensure that everyone knows exactly what needs to be done.
- Packing Expert: You take ownership of quality at the packing stations. For our beneficial organisms in particular, you pay meticulous attention to correct cooling and specialized packaging. You ensure every package leaves the warehouse in perfect condition, even during high-volume peak seasons.
- Flow Manager: You monitor the flow of goods from inbound to shipping (parcels & mail). You identify bottlenecks early, resolve blockages, and provide support wherever help is needed.
- Forklift Hero: You safely operate our Material Handling Equipment (MHE), assist with loading and unloading, and ensure a perfectly organized pallet warehouse.
- Safe & Clean: You are responsible for order and safety. For you, a clean and organized warehouse is the foundation for efficient processes.
- Onboarding: You train new team members and seasonal staff, instilling the "Plantura Standard" regarding quality, safety, and efficiency from day one.
What you bring
- Experience: You have at least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations. You are familiar with e-commerce workflows and know exactly what counts when it comes to high-quality packing.
- Strong Communicator: You have good English skills, allowing you to coordinate clearly with our international team. Basic German is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Hands-on Mentality: You love working directly on the shop floor. Through your proactive approach, you motivate your team and foster a positive working atmosphere.
- Licensed to Drive: You are confident in operating MHE and hold a valid forklift license—or you have been planning to get one for a long time.
- Resilience & Perspective: Even during intense periods, such as our spring peak season, you stay focused, keep the big picture in mind, and make pragmatic decisions.
Why Plantura?
- Ownership: we offer you a highly ambitious work environment and do not believe in strict hierarchies, but in ownership and drive.
- Team spirit: We are an ambitious team with an appreciative working atmosphere; active participation and transparency are part of our company DNA.
- Meaningful benefits: We believe that everyone needs support to develop personally and professionally. Yoga or gym, coding class or time management coaching - we address your needs.
