Job summary

CENTOGENE in Rostock is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage warehouse operations and coordinate shipments of samples and materials, ensuring smooth flow and timely deliveries.

You will work with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, maintain stock accuracy, plan replenishment with Purchasing, and ensure import/export handling with carriers while complying with customs and biosafety regulations. You will partner with Laboratory, Quality, and other departments to support material logistics.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and register goods and samples, store under required conditions, prepare shipments and handle returns.
• Process and verify sales orders and shipments in ERP, record inventory movements.
• Maintain stock accuracy with counts and replenishment planning with Purchasing.
• Monitor storage conditions and temperature records.
• Organise import/export shipments with carriers; track and resolve issues.
• Prepare shipping and customs docs (Air Waybills, invoices, ATLAS).
• Ensure compliance with regulations for biological substances and dry ice (IATA DGR, UN3373).
• Collaborate with Laboratory, Quality, Purchasing and other departments.

Your Responsibilities

This position combines warehouse operations with logistics coordination: you ensure the smooth flow of goods, samples and materials in the warehouse and manage the related shipments.

• Receive and register goods and samples, store them under the required conditions, prepare and dispatch kits and shipments, and handle returns
• Work in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations): process and verify sales orders and shipments, record and check inventory movements
• Maintain stock accuracy through inventory counts and discrepancy resolution; plan replenishment of packaging, consumables and collection kits together with Purchasing and internal users
• Monitor storage conditions and keep the relevant temperature records
• Organise import and export shipments with carriers and couriers; track shipments and resolve issues such as delays, customs holds and missing documents
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation (e.g. Air Waybills, invoices, export declarations) and use ATLAS
• Ensure compliance with regulations for biological substances and dry ice (IATA DGR, UN3373, UN1845)
• Work closely with Laboratory, Quality, Purchasing, and all other departments that require materials or logistics support

Your profile

• Vocational training (e.g. forwarding or logistics clerk) or a degree in logistics, plus [2–3] years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or a comparable ERP (inventory, sales and purchase orders)
• Experience in pharma, diagnostics or a laboratory, including receiving and shipping samples, is a strong advantage
• Customs experience, ideally with ATLAS
• Good Excel skills
• Fluent German and English
• Ability to handle goods manually
