As our business continues to grow, we are building and professionalizing our warehouse and logistics operations in Ratingen. We are therefore looking for a hands-on Junior Warehouse & Logistics Manager who wants to take real ownership, develop scalable processes and grow into a future leadership position.
This is not a purely administrative role. You will work directly within the operation, help establish our systems and processes from scratch and gradually take over responsibility for the entire warehouse and logistics function.

We are therefore looking for a hands-on Junior Warehouse & Logistics Manager who wants to take real ownership, develop scalable processes and grow into a future leadership position.
This is not a purely administrative role. You will work directly within the operation, help establish our systems and processes from scratch and gradually take over responsibility for the entire warehouse and logistics function.
Your responsibilities
- Support the setup and continuous development of our warehouse and logistics operations in our brand new warehouse in Ratingen
- Help design efficient processes for inbound goods, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns
- Actively participate in day-to-day warehouse operations, particularly during the setup phase and peak periods
- Support the implementation and configuration of our new ERP and warehouse management processes
- Translate operational requirements into practical ERP workflows together with management, internal teams and external implementation partners
- Establish clear processes for inventory management, stock accuracy, cycle counts and annual stocktaking
- Help define warehouse layouts, storage locations, product flows and picking structures
- Coordinate parcel and freight shipments as well as relationships with carriers and logistics service providers
- Monitor operational performance and develop relevant KPIs and reports
- Identify bottlenecks, errors and inefficient processes and implement practical improvements
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions and operational standards
- Gradually coordinate and lead warehouse employees and temporary staff
- Support logistics planning for events, conventions, retail activities and international projects
- Work closely with Events/Organized Play, Project Management and Management
- Take on increasing responsibility with the long-term perspective of leading our warehouse and logistics department
- Grow gradually into this role, having the opportunity to become part of our management
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a comparable field
- Approximately two to three years of relevant professional experience in warehousing, logistics, fulfilment or supply chain operations
- Practical understanding of inbound goods, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping and returns
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications and general familiarity with digital business systems
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English (Our main language is ENGLISH!)
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Shopify, shipping software, international logistics or the coordination of operational teams would be an advantage, but is not essential.
