The VP Procurement will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for building and executing the procurement strategy for the Industrial & Packaging Division. This role combines vision with hands‑on execution as it will ensure cost efficiency, supply chain resilience, sustainability compliance, and supplier performance across all relevant categories. The VP will play a key role in driving value creation, digitalisation, and innovation in procurement, while supporting TAKKT's group‑wide transformation and sustainability goals.

• Develop and implement a long‑term procurement strategy aligned with divisional and group‑level objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive category management excellence.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, innovation, and competitiveness.
• Optimise the procurement organisation to increase efficiency and transparency; manage complexity and oversee day‑to‑day procurement activities.
• Drive procurement digitalisation, including automation and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing procurement team across locations.
• Act as a strong business partner to Sales, Product Management / Marketing, Logistics, and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

What Makes You Be the Perfect Fit

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including roles in both small and large organisations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in an industrial, packaging, or B2B distribution environment.
• Proven ability to build procurement structures and manage large supplier bases.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier development.
• Familiarity with procurement digitalisation and ERP / P2P systems (SAP, Coupa).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a strong asset.
