Job summary

J&T Express Germany GmbH is seeking a Visa & Immigration Specialist (Mandarin-speaking) to own visa and immigration processes across our European organization. Based in Nieder-Olm (near Mainz), this role is 100% on-site and involves coordinating providers, guiding employees, and ensuring compliant, efficient immigration workflows.

You will work across Germany and other EU markets, optimize processes, and partner with HR and stakeholders to support international staff and enable smooth onboarding.

Join J&T Express as a Visa & Immigration Specialist (Mandarin-speaking) and take ownership of visa and immigration processes across our European organization. You will coordinate external immigration providers, support international employees throughout their visa and entry journey, while continuously improving our immigration processes with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization. The position is based in Nieder-Olm (near Mainz) and is 100% on-site.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate visa, immigration, work permit, and entry processes for international employees across Germany and other European countries
• Guide employees throughout the immigration process, from initial assessment and document preparation to visa approval, entry, and onboarding
• Coordinate and manage external visa and immigration providers, ensuring service quality, timely processing, and effective case management
• Serve as a key contact for employees, HR teams, business stakeholders, and external partners on immigration-related matters
• Ensure all immigration activities comply with local immigration laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across relevant European markets
• Monitor immigration cases, proactively identify potential risks or delays, and coordinate appropriate solutions and escalations
• Continuously optimize and standardize visa and immigration processes, documentation, workflows, and internal guidelines across European markets
• Monitor provider performance and immigration-related expenses to drive cost optimization, efficiency, and service quality

Your Profile

• Professional experience in visa and immigration management or a comparable function with hands-on responsibility for immigration cases
• Proven practical experience managing visa and immigration processes in at least two EU countries outside Germany
• Strong knowledge of immigration processes, work permits, entry requirements, and related documentation
• Experience coordinating and managing external immigration or visa providers
• Strong understanding of immigration compliance and the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and country-specific requirements simultaneously
• Experience in process optimization and a strong awareness of service quality, efficiency, and cost management
• Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style with strong ownership and follow-through
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international and multicultural environment
• Business fluent Mandarin and either English or German are absolute must-have requirements for this position; proficiency in all three languages is considered a strong advantage
