A leading technology firm in Frankfurt is looking for an engineer specializing in CO2 sequestration and energy transition. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Engineering and fluency in English. You will manage data related to CO2 emissions, identify competitive sinks, and analyze various techno-economic solutions. This 12-month position offers exposure to key energy challenges within a global network.

Aufgaben

  • Manage data on sequesterable CO2 emissions.
  • Identify competitive CO2 sinks globally.
  • Rank sequestration routes and geographies.
  • Build knowledge pool on CO2 sequestration.
  • Prepare RFIs and review CO2 offers.
  • Organize meetings with Air Liquide hubs.
  • Adapt to new energy transition topics quickly.
  • Analyze cutting-edge tools in the market.
  • Track global discussions regarding CO2 sinks.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
CO2 Sequestration mission description
  • Data management of the group’s sequesterable CO2 emissions.
  • Identification of accessible and competitive CO2 sinks globally.
  • Ranking in time and cost the different sequestration routes and geographies.
  • Built‑up of a knowledge pool regarding CO2 sequestration technicalities.
  • Prepare RFIs, analysis and review of CO2 sinks & offers.
  • Organization of the regular exchange & update meetings with the different Air Liquide hubs & clusters.
  • Adapt quickly to the new energy transition topics that will come‑up in a fast moving environment.
  • Benchmark and analysis of cutting‑edge tools used in the market.
  • Keeping track of all WW AL sink discussions and T&Cs.
Energy transition mission description
  • Tracking / ranking of available techno‑economic solutions to achieve Air Liquide’s decarbonisation targets (e.g., renewable processes vs. low‑carbon processes).

Location and Duration

Position based in Frankfurt, Germany for an initial period of 12 months (extendable once).

Eligibility

Position open only for candidates eligible to the VIE program. Therefore only the applicants meeting the requirements of the French V.I.E program will be taken into consideration.
