What we offer

We are seeking a Trainee in Sales GKA Bosch non‑Automotive to join our growing team. As a Trainee, you will be fully integrated into the Sales & Marketing team and will be responsible for supporting our international customer service team, global customers, and multiple departments within ST.

Program Overview

During the 2‑year trainee program, you will learn, grow, and take ownership in supporting challenging and business focused tasks. Our ST trainee program is designed to provide you with hands‑on experience across multiple departments and domains you are interested in within our site in Germany and abroad. You will have the chance to shape your path and work with multiple customers or across other teams within our Sales & Marketing teams, and sites abroad.

First Assignment

Your first assignment will start with the Sales GKA Bosch non‑automotive team, where you will have the opportunity to influence ST's internal and external reputation as a technology leader by working with a variety of different stakeholders from different backgrounds, expertise, cultures, and countries.

Main deliverables and experiences gained are :
  • Analyze the customer's (financial) performance to report and advise the management to develop the long‑term strategy to be followed to ensure business / market share growth at the assigned perimeter. Learn all the relevant skills for a holistic sales profile.
  • Utilize skills and expertise to contribute for the growth of the organization by leveraging on ample learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the sales figure and sales / budget / market share of the assigned perimeter within the account. The perimeter is GKA Bosch Non‑BBM BSH.
  • Collaborate with the GKA Manager or Supervisor to develop the sales strategy and implements it in cooperation with customer ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationship with all relevant external and internal customers.
  • Acquire new business, organize and participate in customer meetings, presenting ST's full semiconductor and service portfolio that can benefit customer’s needs.
  • Manage new projects being developed with both the customer and ST's divisions.
  • Identify new directions for partnership with the assigned customer in close cooperation with the global GKA Team and the Market Development / Product Marketing / Applications Engineering teams.
  • Participate actively in the annual price negotiations process.
  • Involved in all aspects of quality : in work, processes, products and results.
  • Responsible for complete understanding of the customer profile.

Profile

What we are looking for :

  • Educational Degree in Electronics or Industrial Engineering (Bachelor, Masters, Diploma.)
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in Sales
  • Must possess a valid driving license as travelling is a pre‑requisite for this role (continental and intercontinental)
  • Exposure to and deep understanding of market and customer landscape for automotive
  • Knowledge of working on MS365 and PowerBI systems
  • Results‑driven approach, strong skills in organizing and planning.
  • Independent, reliable, and relish working collaboratively with others.
  • Passion for high‑tech topics
  • Very good written and oral communication and negotiation skills in English and German. Knowledge of French and / or Italian is an advantage.
  • Highly flexible and can work effectively in high stress situations.
  • Can cooperate successfully and work well with international teams.
  • Love to learn and have the courage to develop as a person.
  • Ability to work in an international & intercultural environment.
