• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction standards and EM 385‑1‑1 requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and training skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30‑hour Construction or General Industry certification and proof of an L3-level safety course completion.

• Perform a broad range of general maintenance duties, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks and ensure all base facilities and grounds are well-maintained and in good working order.
• Act as the primary on-site safety representative, implementing and maintaining the project’s Accident Prevention Plan.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, report findings, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected promptly.
• Lead daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and other training sessions for all personnel.
• Ensure site compliance with OSHA standards and other federal, state, and local safety regulations, documenting and reporting all safety-related activities and incidents.
• Investigate all accidents, injuries, and near-misses, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and submit reports to management.

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and safety-focused individual for the dual role of General Maintenance Worker / Level 3 Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO L3). This position is perfect for a skilled maintenance professional who is also committed to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. You will be responsible for a wide variety of maintenance tasks while serving as the primary on-site safety officer, enforcing protocols and leading a culture of safety.
