Qualifikationen

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in U.S. trade compliance and import customs operations
• Significant experience with free trade agreements, tariff classification, and valuation principles
• Ability to manage projects in the trade space, e.g., FTZ feasibility, strategic sourcing/landed cost support, origin and tariff engineering
• General understanding of manufacturing operations with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in managing self‑assessments, entry data reviews, and entry correction procedures
• Solid working knowledge of the HTSUS, EAR, and U.S. Customs and Trade regulations
• Ability to create financial analyses, including spends, forecasts, trends, and what‑if scenarios
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and easily communicate their impact to the business
• Deep analytical capabilities with prioritization skills
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analyses abilities with the capacity to develop corrective measures
• Solid business acumen with the confidence to be self‑directed
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of Mexico customs and trade operations
• Experience supporting IMMEX/maquila operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience in import/export operations
