What We Expect
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Test & Qualification Engineer (d/f/m) to join our dynamic international team at our test tower in Rottweil. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing test and qualification activities, ensuring that all standards and requirements are met to deliver high-quality elevator systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordination & Execution of Test & Qualification Activities for Elevators: oversee and conduct test and qualification activities for components as well as full elevator system tests within our Rottweil test tower.
- Use of measurement devices for noise, vibration, forces, energy consumption, etc.
- Definition & Execution of Test & Qualification Requirements: develop and implement test and qualification requirements, activities, and procedures that align with industry standards.
- Creation of Test & Qualification Plans: create, standardize, and maintain comprehensive test and qualification plans to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaboration with International Teams: work closely with test and qualification engineers in other test centers and towers globally to share knowledge and best practices. Work in partnership with the R&D team.
- Reporting and Documentation: create detailed reports and documentation to track progress and results of testing activities.
- Consult R&D teams with product improvements.
Qualification
- Educational Background: completed training with a specialization in Mechatronics, physics or Electrical Engineering, or a dual course of study (apprenticeship + study).
- Industry Knowledge: solid knowledge, skills, and experience with lift products are welcomed.
- Technical Proficiency: very good knowledge of MS Office, hands‑on mentality and solution‑oriented thinking.
- Deep understanding in measurement equipment especially in vibrations.
- Knowledge in functional safety. Training & certificates are a plus.
- Certified electrician is a plus.
- Language Skills: excellent command of English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Motivation and Physical Capability: high motivation and ability to work at height are essential.
- Software: Matlab or Diadem.
