Overview

A Snapshot of Your Day: In this role, you support the General Project Manager in delivering complex international projects from initiation through provisional acceptance. You coordinate cross-functional and intercultural teams, align technical and commercial requirements, manage milestones and budgets, and engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders. Your day combines strategic decision-making with hands-on project leadership, contract and risk management, and ensuring that quality, schedule, safety, and performance targets are consistently met.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Support the General Project Manager (GPM) in project execution and assume project management responsibilities according to PM Category C/B within larger projects.
• Manage assigned projects across the full project life cycle up to Provisional Acceptance (PAC), ensuring adherence to milestones, budget, quality, schedule, EHS, and resource targets.
• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of the Siemens Energy Project Management Plan, including the Quality Management Plan, and involve relevant partners during sales and project initiation phases.
• Act as the primary interface to customer stakeholders, analyzing customer requirements and assessing commercial, contractual, and ECC feasibility.
• Perform contract reviews and derive actions related to risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations, while ensuring alignment on technical solutions and subsystem integration (e.g. HRSG, Turboset).
• Define targets and work packages with project team members, lead regular project status meetings, organize milestone acceptances, and ensure complete documentation in line with applicable standards.

What You Bring

• Successfully completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or a comparable vocational or academic qualification in a business- or engineering-related field relevant to Project Management.
• At least 60 months of Project Management experience in complex projects, including responsibility for executing Category B customer projects, with a minimum of 36 months in a strategic and/or leadership role. Hands on experience in installation and commissioning.
• Long-term leadership experience, coordinating project teams of 8 or more members. Knowledge and understanding about key components and auxiliary systems of HVDC converters with emphasis on offshore platforms.
• Proven experience in managing complex international projects and leading intercultural teams.
• IPMA Level B (Senior Project Manager) certification (certified, nominated, or documented with an assigned mentor) or a comparable project management certification and proven experience.
