Then come and join our global team as Technical Innovation Project Lead (f/m/d), to enable innovative, AI-enabled applications, using state‑of‑the‑art software technologies and architectures in the context of images guided interventions.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
This position is full‑time or part‑time with a minimum of 32 h/week.
You will manage the enabling technologies for the pre‑development activities and projects in our innovation department. You will coordinate with our R&D system and software architects, innovation project leads, software developers and other internal stakeholders from various departments.
In the context of developing and enabling software applications that interface with medical imaging modalities you will explore, pre‑develop, prototype, design, and help implement and manage requirements for software applications, focusing on AI enablement, architecture, interfaces, security, authorization. Software applications may also be developed as separate medical products (SAMD).
You will support the teams in the innovation department on various projects in terms of interfacing to our imaging systems, architectural patterns, and deployment strategies. In that capacity you are also in close alignment with the system and software architects of our product lines and help to innovate by introducing and strengthening state‑of‑the‑art software technologies and software design patterns.
You will facilitate innovative projects to specifically support AI‑enabled applications or federated learning environments that require high‑bandwidth data connections and low‑latency data processing. You help to pilot new solutions by designing and implementing initial proofs‑of‑concept.
You have a degree in informatics, medical informatics, mathematics, or a comparable field.
You have several years of experience in project execution, using the following technologies:
If you have already gained insights into medical imaging techniques, image guided procedures or medical device development this would be an asset.
You are a team player, have good communication skills, and can work with and build relationships with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
You work and communicate with colleagues in an international environment and have business fluent English skills. Good German skills for communicating with your German‑speaking stakeholders would be an advantage.
You are results‑oriented and take initiative.
You are able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set appropriate priorities in order to meet deadlines.
