Team Lead Sales (m / f / d) Hitachi Coding Marking & Verification Solutions Telesis DACH Region

Your responsibilities :

The role is to establish and manage a portfolio of accounts in the DACH region and develop and grow sales of Hitachi product coding and verification solutions at those accounts.

The team lead sales will be responsible for attracting customers for Hitachi / Telesis C&M solutions to build a pipeline of projects and to win those projects. The priority will be to sell Telesis solutions initially.

The Team Lead sales will manage the in-house sales activities, all related agents and distributors, as well as any account managers in the DACH sales team.

He will be responsible for setting up and executing a sales strategy to fulfill mid-term goals (Hitachi Mid-term plan) in close consultation with the Head of C&M Business EMEA.

In Detail, the responsibilities are :

  • Manage all sales resources in the DACH area (Telesis) using CRM system to build up pipeline and monitor activities.
  • Research customer segments and identify the best suited customers for our solutions.
  • Manage and develop existing customer relationships
  • Prospect, engage with, and present consistent Hitachi / Telesis commercial and technical value propositions to stakeholders in those accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for Hitachi Coding & Marking solutions and build a project pipeline.
  • Negotiate commercial framework agreements.
  • Establish formal and lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Build a network in specific vertical markets.
  • Manage pricing, discounts, and other sales proposal activities.
  • Deliver enhanced revenue and profit generation on budget level.
  • Collaborate with the worldwide Hitachi C&M team and provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, competitors' positions, and customer base depth, translating them into product specifications.
  • Develop and create business plans.
  • Establish sales and forecasting processes for projected printer sales.

Your Skills :

  • Experience in sales of technical products in the B2B machine builder or IT market, manufacturing solutions & packaging applications.
  • More than 5 years of experience selling regional and/or global key accounts.
  • First team lead or management experience is a plus.
  • Experienced in consultative and solution-based selling.
  • Strong team player to work in a sales team (presales, OEM technical resources, distribution partners, sales administration).
  • Ability to present a technical sales proposition; concepts of solution-based selling.
  • Manage and record stages of the sales process.
  • Proficient in Excel and CRM reporting tools such as Salesforce.
  • Fluency in German and English
