Opportunity

We are looking for a Team Lead Account Renewal Management who combines strong people leadership with a hands‑on, commercial mindset. In this role, you will lead a team of Account Renewal Specialists while owning and managing your own renewal portfolio. You will play a critical role in driving retention, expanding existing client relationships, and ensuring predictable recurring revenue growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, is comfortable in client‑facing negotiations, and can translate strategy into operational excellence.

What you will do
  • You manage your own portfolio of accounts with full responsibility for renewals, optimizing revenue and margins
  • You recruit, onboard, and lead a team of Account Renewal specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • You set clear goals and priorities aligned with revenue targets
  • You actively work on the improvement and formalization of processes and tools to position this business area for scalability
  • You own renewal forecasting, you analyze the portfolio to identify needs for action based on opportunities and risks such as up‑selling and cross‑selling, and implement these strategies across the team
  • You coordinate closely with Sales, Client Success, Legal, and Controlling to ensure seamless contract execution
  • You understand the needs of corporate clients and derive strategies for specific contract negotiations
What you need to succeed
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in B2B contract management, negotiation, or sales within a B2B environment
  • You bring proven leadership experience with a strong drive to build and develop a high‑performance team and establish optimized organizational structures
  • You are able to balance people leadership and hands‑on execution
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • You have a data‑driven mindset with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and strong Google Sheets skills to identify risks and growth opportunities
  • You thrive in fast‑paced, scaling environments
  • You have a strong affinity for the product and confidently represent Urban Sports Club
  • You are professionally fluent in both German and English
