About the Role

We’re looking for a Staff or Lead Frontend Engineer to drive our frontend architecture, lead technical decision‑making, and grow the frontend discipline at Synthflow. You’ll be our strongest IC (80%) while also leading and mentoring the frontend team (20%). This role is both technical and strategic—you'll directly influence the frontend product and tech roadmap and ensure tight alignment between design, product, and backend teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and development of our frontend platform using React,
  TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Own and evolve the frontend technical roadmap—performance, scalability, DX, and
  testing.
• Collaborate closely with backend and infra teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end
  system design.
• Build polished, performant, and highly interactive features used by thousands of
  businesses.
• Mentor and support other frontend engineers through code reviews, pairing, and
  design sessions.
• Help shape cross‑functional planning and the broader product roadmap.
• Maintain high quality and stability through robust testing (Jest, Playwright, etc.).
• Lead with pragmatism—prioritize shipping fast without compromising long‑term
  quality

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience building modern web applications, with deep expertise in
  React + TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading architecture and driving technical direction.
• Passion for UI/UX detail, performance, and clean code.
