YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The Specialist Customer Success Manager is responsible for the daily management of assigned cloud customer accounts. This includes developing account management strategies, managing engagement and expansion plans, and delivering Customer Success services to ensure product adoption and growth. The role aims to maximize customer value from SAP SPM cloud products and drive revenue growth and retention.

The S-CSM SPM role is a specialist within the Sales Performance Management (SPM) domain. It serves as the primary contact for customer stakeholders across various levels, including Sales Operations, Finance, and IT, requiring knowledge spanning SaaS and incentive management practices.

Core account management practices include:

  • Proactively developing customer roadmaps to improve consumption and maximize subscription value
  • Conducting Relationship Assessments and Outcome Success Plans, tracking and maintaining tasks
  • Providing best practice advice for operating SAP SPM cloud solutions and governance
  • Understanding customer business models, priorities, and risks to identify expansion opportunities
  • Developing and executing renewal and expansion plans with internal teams
  • Using commercial acumen for licensing, renewal forecasts, and contractual opportunities
  • Leveraging Customer Success tools to maximize customer value
YOUR PROFILE
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex customer engagements or similar customer-facing roles
  • Self-starter with energy, drive, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong communication skills to present and communicate effectively to senior management
  • Experience in SAP Sales Performance Management, sales operations, incentive management, IT, Healthcare, or Financial Services is valued but not required
  • Experience in account management planning and contract negotiations is valued but not required
  • Project Management certification is highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
