Job Description

We are a growing software development company based in Dresden-Hellerau, creating solutions that make a real impact. Our products support leading institutions in profiling, evidence analysis, and solving complex cases. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Software Tester/Test Automation Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using QF-Test, as well as support and manage the test infrastructure. You will monitor test progress to ensure comprehensive coverage and contribute to the optimisation of testing processes and methods. Close collaboration with the development team will be essential as you document and track deviations, analyse test results, and ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a completed vocational training or university degree in computer science, software development, or a related discipline. Practical experience in automated testing with QF-Test or similar tools is highly desirable. Strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and a high level of quality awareness are essential. A basic understanding of scientific principles will be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are key to success in this role. An ISTQB certification would be considered a plus. Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken, is required.
