About Upway

As Upway’s Social & Content Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting engaging, customer‑centric content that boosts brand awareness and drives our mission of sustainable mobility. From crafting catchy social media captions to producing impactful blogs, videos, and newsletters, you’ll bring our brand to life across platforms.

Your Mission
  • Social Media Management:
    • Own the social media content calendar, planning and scheduling posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
    • Create visually compelling and on‑brand posts.
    • Develop content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and attracts new followers.
    • Stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies to leverage emerging opportunities.
    • Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments and messages to build a loyal audience.
    • Track and analyse social media performance metrics to refine strategies and optimise growth.
  • CRM and Email Marketing:
    • Create compelling email campaigns that resonate with our audience, drive engagement, and boost customer loyalty.
    • Develop visually appealing templates and layouts with an eye for design that aligns with our brand guidelines.
    • Monitor and analyse email performance, applying insights to improve open rates, click‑throughs, and conversions.
  • SEO Optimization:
    • Edit and optimise website content, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices to improve rankings and visibility.
    • Create engaging blog articles designed to drive organic traffic and support keyword strategies.
    • Develop optimised descriptions for new product collections and categories to enhance discoverability.
    • Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement targeted keywords, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
    • Monitor the performance of SEO‑driven content and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Campaign & Website Activation
    • Implement and bring to life marketing campaigns, including sales promotions and calendar‑based initiatives, ensuring all content is engaging, creative, and on‑brand.
    • Collaborate on the development and integration of website animations to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 1–2 years in content creation, copywriting, or a related role with strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends.
  • Writing Skills: Passionate storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills in German.
  • Creativity: Skilled in designing engaging visual content using tools like Figma or Canva, with basic video editing as a plus.
  • Email Marketing: Experienced with platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
  • Work Style: Self‑motivated and eager to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
  • Languages: Native‑level fluency in German and excellent command of English.
  • Interest: A genuine passion for bicycles and e‑bikes is a significant advantage.
