Jobbeschreibung

We are 2,300 highly trained and motivated professionals with energy and efficiency. Our specialties are the maintenance, repair, optimization, and inspection of wind turbines. Whatever the challenge, we have the right solution and work with determination to unlock the full potential of 7,600 wind farm projects worldwide and to advance the energy transition every single day.

Are you a senior technician with in-depth knowledge of Vestas V80 turbines? Do you enjoy sharing your expertise with junior technicians and are ready to take the next step in your career? Then the role of Shift Supervisor could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Shift Supervisor, you ensure that our service technicians can carry out their work as efficiently and effectively as possible. You’re the first point of contact when troubleshooting becomes complex and provide hands‑on support whenever needed. In short: you make sure your team of 6 to 12 technicians starts each shift well‑prepared, safe, and aligned.

You will work in the same two‑weeks‑on, two‑weeks‑off rotation as the technicians, with 12‑hour shifts. On average, you will join the offshore team two days per week to support and supervise activities on‑site.

Your profile
  • You enjoy working in a close-knit team and feel confident taking the lead.
  • Proven leadership experience in offshore wind turbine operations.
  • Multiple years of hands‑on experience as a service technician, preferably on Vestas V80 turbines.
  • Valid NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 certifications.
  • Preferably in possession of valid GWO certificates and a medical clearance (or willing to obtain them quickly).
  • In possession of a VCA‑VOL certificate (or willing to obtain one).
  • Valid Class B driver’s license.
  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • A problem‑solving mindset with experience managing complex tasks in challenging offshore environments.
Your tasks
  • Develop annual operational plans and shift schedules in close collaboration with the client.
  • Manage and approve the final deployment of work teams and equipment for offshore operations, including leading daily toolbox meetings.
  • Create work orders and issue work permits to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Take full accountability for the overall quality of offshore work, ensuring alignment with safety and performance standards.
  • Maintain close cooperation with the customer, exceeding expectations by delivering efficient, high‑quality, and timely services across all offshore activities.
  • Mentor, guide, and support your team to improve skills, productivity, and collaboration.
  • Monitor, track, and report both scheduled and unscheduled work progress to the client.
  • Participate in offshore operations to verify quality and efficiency, and support troubleshooting or other operational challenges.
What we offer
  • You’ll work 38.5 hours per week and enjoy 30 days of annual leave – giving you plenty of time for your personal life.
  • To help you plan confidently for the future, we also support your company pension scheme with a 20% employer contribution.
  • Whether it’s plant or electrical engineering, mechanics, or hydraulics – we offer you regular hands‑on training sessions under real‑life conditions.
  • We’ve negotiated special insurance rates for our Windtastics (that’s what we call our team!) – for example, on accident insurance.
  • Swimming, bouldering, dancing – with our corporate fitness program, you can train at over 1,000 gyms and sports facilities across Germany at a reduced rate.
  • After 12 months with the company, you’ll receive Christmas bonus pay on top of your salary as a reward for your loyalty – and the longer you’re with us, the more it grows.
