Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Business Architect to support our SAP MDG to ERP implementations. This role will be integral to shaping our business processes across multiple workstreams, including Record to Report, Plan to Produce, Service to Repair, Procure to Pay, and Deliver to Fulfil. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to define, document, and optimize end-to-end business processes while ensuring alignment with SAP MDG and ERP functionalities, industry best practices, and compliance standards. The Master Data Business Architect will be responsible for defining the future state of business processes aligned with our SAP MDG system, ensuring that master data supports accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization. The successful candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration, support end-user readiness, and play a critical role in ensuring that master data empowers our organization to achieve operational excellence and business growth.

Tasks

• Business Process Design - Lead the system-supported creation of To-Be business processes across workstreams in collaboration with GPO’s and other business functions
• Cross Functional Collaboration - Act as a bridge between the business and IT, ensuring that technical solutions meet business process requirements and are aligned with the SAP MDG and ERP configuration
• Technical and Business Alignment - Ensure that the SAP MDG and ERP configuration aligns with both functional and technical needs
• Data modeling and design - Establish and maintain standardized global data model and associated components.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Lead and support UAT activities, ensuring all business processes are tested and validated
• Data Migration and Quality - Lead and collaborate with other business architects, data experts for data migration, ensuring accurate mapping and alignment with the new system environment
• Compliance and Validation - Ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) and validation processes, managing compliance for all SAP MDG to ERP implementations

Qualifications

• 7+ years working in SAP implementations, with a focus on Master Data Management
• In-depth experience in SAP MDG
• Business Architect or Solution Architect experience
• Experience with data structure design, data flow, validation, and data quality practices
• Expertise in business process design, optimization, and system integration
• Experience in an Agile delivery
• Experience in Medical Technology preferred
• Experience in quality management systems and computer systems validation is preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English language

Key dates: Start: asap, latest January. Duration: 6 months with the option to extend. 100% remote possible.
