Job summary

SimplyVision GmbH is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Solution & Integration Architect for a remote freelance role. The ideal candidate will drive global HR application and integration architecture, serving as technical lead for the implementation team.

Focus areas include SAP HCM, S/4HANA and SuccessFactors, with API/middleware integrations and GDPR compliance. The assignment starts mid-November 2026, runs 6 months+ with go-live planned in Jan/Feb 2027, and is remote.

Qualifications

• Extensive HR IT and SAP HCM expertise with architecture focus.
• Strong SAP HCM background including core HR, PA and OM.
• Experience in Solution and Integration Architecture.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Solid integration experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs and middleware.
• Security, IAM, GDPR knowledge; ability to lead technical teams.
• Fluent English; experience in global, multi-country environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and further develop the global HR application and integration architecture
• Act as technical lead and design authority for the implementation team
• Design and review integrations between SAP HCM, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems
• Work with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs, OData, REST, SOAP and middleware technologies
• Define architecture principles, technical standards, data flows and integration governance
• Support security architecture, IAM, RBAC, segregation of duties and GDPR requirements
• Support audit findings, test cycles, technical issue resolution and go-live preparation
• Take over from the current consultant and support go-live, stabilization and ongoing technical ownership

For our customer located in Germany we are currently looking for a: Senior SAP HCM Solution & Integration Architect [remote] (m/f/d)

For an international enterprise environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR IT / SAP HCM Solution & Integration Architect to support a global HR technology transformation and transition program.

The role combines HR application architecture, integration architecture, technical governance and hands-on SAP HCM expertise.

Tasks & Responsibilities

We are specifically looking for a technically strong SAP HCM Solution / Integration Architect.

Profiles focused primarily on SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Payroll or purely functional SAP HCM consulting without architecture and integration responsibility are not suitable for this assignment.

• Design and further develop the global HR application and integration architecture
• Act as technical lead and design authority for the implementation team
• Design and review integrations between SAP HCM, S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems
• Work with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs, OData, REST, SOAP and middleware technologies
• Define architecture principles, technical standards, data flows and integration governance
• Support security architecture, IAM, RBAC, segregation of duties and GDPR requirements

Must Haves

• Extensive experience in HR IT, SAP HCM, Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture
• Strong SAP HCM background, ideally including Core HR, Personnel Administration and Organizational Management
• Strong experience in Solution Architecture and Integration Architecture
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors
• Strong integration experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs and middleware
• Strong technical understanding beyond purely functional SAP HCM consulting
• Experience with global / multi-country landscapes, security, IAM, roles and GDPR
• Fluent English, strong stakeholder communication and experience leading technical teams
