• Define architecture principles, technical standards, data flows and integration governance.
• Support security architecture, IAM, RBAC, segregation of duties and GDPR requirements.
• Support audit findings, test cycles, technical issue resolution and go-live preparation.
• Take over from the current consultant and support go-live, stabilization and ongoing technical ownership.

Job Description

For an international enterprise environment, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR IT / SAP HCM Solution & Integration Architect to support a global HR technology transformation and transition program.

The role combines HR application architecture, integration architecture, technical governance and hands-on SAP HCM expertise.

This is not a classic Payroll role and not a purely functional SAP HCM consulting position.

• Start: Mid-November 2026
• Duration: 6 months+
• Go-live: Planned for January / February 2027
• Contract: Freelance
• Location: Remote

We are specifically looking for a technically strong SAP HCM Solution / Integration Architect.

Profiles focused primarily on SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Payroll or purely functional SAP HCM consulting without architecture and integration responsibility are not suitable for this assignment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in HR IT, SAP HCM, Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture
• Strong SAP HCM background, ideally including Core HR, Personnel Administration and Organizational Management
• Strong experience in Solution Architecture and Integration Architecture
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors
• Strong integration experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI, APIs and middleware
• Strong technical understanding beyond purely functional SAP HCM consulting
• Experience with global / multi-country landscapes, security, IAM, roles and GDPR
• Fluent English, strong stakeholder communication and experience leading technical teams
