Our client – an international consultancy – is seeking a Senior SAP FICO Lead Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is remote, but travel is required, and candidates must be based in Germany.

The company specializes in strategy, architecture, and advanced SAP technologies, providing professionals with opportunities to work on impactful projects with global exposure. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive end-to-end implementation projects in SAP Finance and/or Controlling domains.
2. Act as the primary client contact, ensuring project alignment with client needs.
3. Identify opportunities for SAP solutions to improve business processes.
4. Integrate industry best practices into tailored solutions for clients.
5. Conduct fit-gap analyses and fit-to-standard workshops to align SAP solutions with client requirements.
6. Lead discussions on mapping client processes to SAP standards.
7. Develop and adapt solutions to address identified process gaps.
8. Propose and implement process improvements.
9. Ensure effective system implementation, coordinating with nearshore/offshore teams.
10. Manage collaboration across distributed teams to maintain timelines and quality.
11. Serve as a trusted advisor for clients and project management teams.
12. Provide insights and guidance on project progress and technical decisions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• 12+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO.
• University degree in business administration, business computer science, or equivalent.
• Strong background in finance and controlling processes, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Expertise in SAP implementation methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to convert business requirements into system specifications.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading teams and collaborating with onshore and offshore resources.
• Fluent English and B2 German language skills are required.
