  • Define, maintain and close the Materials and Processes requirements and lists for Earth and Moon missions.

  • Support the reviews at all levels of design documentations and specifications to ensure that the ESA and NASA standards are met with respect to Materials and Processes used in spaceflight hardware.

  • Assess whether supplier processes meet Materials and Processes requirements (incl. for qualification and acceptance testing), and if not, provide recommendations.

  • Define and qualify in-house inspection and manufacturing processes.

  • Work in close collaboration with subsystem teams, MAIT and future projects to ensure efficient design for manufacturing, integration and testing, and reviewing CAD, manufacturing drawings, test and handling procedures to verify that they are compatible with the planned manufacturing processes and flight performance.

  • Define, own and enforce M&P standards, requirements, verifications and certification.
