What awaits you at Mynaric
- Design of electronic systems across a broad range of electronics, applying high-quality standards suitable for space or airborne applications.
- High-speed analog and digital designs, sensors, actuator/motor drives, and power supplies. Additionally, complex boards integrating microcontrollers, high-ball-count FPGAs, memories, and SoCs.
- Responsibility for the entire design cycle: component selection, schematic design, layout, laboratory testing, verification, integration, and handover to test engineering and production.
- Coordinate among disciplines (electronics, mechanical, optics, control systems, software, simulation) to achieve optimal technical solutions considering all constraints.
- Conduct bench work to test, debug, and integrate electronics using laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, traffic generators).
- Support PCB industrialization activities, interface with production and test engineering, write test specifications, and train test engineers/technicians.
- Opportunity to grow within Mynaric into technical lead or project management roles, overseeing work, making technical decisions, managing schedules, and presenting to customers.
What you bring with you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years, ideally 10 or more, of experience in hardware development.
- Proactive personality with responsibility-taking, exceeding expectations, and a positive 'can do' attitude. Ability to collaborate across disciplines to resolve technical and organizational issues.
- Proficiency with schematic capture, PCB layout, circuit simulation, and experience with ECAD tools (preferably Altium Designer).
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, analyzers, power supplies).
- Experience in technical leadership, decision-making on critical trades, schedule management, and reporting is a plus.
- Experience with high-frequency/high-speed design and simulation tools is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of embedded programming in C/C++, understanding FPGA workflows is welcome.
- Good communication skills in English and/or German.
