We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team onsite in Hamburg or Berlin. You will design and implement intuitive interfaces, ensure technical excellence in our frontend stack, and collaborate closely with backend systems. Your role involves coding, architectural guidance, and mentoring, impacting the quality and usability of SCAYLE Payments’ products.

Technologies involved include Vue.js, React, Angular, AWS, git, and Symfony.

Responsibilities include:

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining the payments platform and developer portal
• Collaborating with backend teams (Symfony) for API integration
• Leading code reviews, mentoring junior developers, enforcing best practices
• Implementing modern build and deployment workflows
• Translating wireframes into functional implementations with product managers
• Managing continuous deployments (Gitlab Pipelines, AWS ECS) and monitoring with tools like Datadog

Ideal candidate profile:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience
• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Familiarity with PHP templating engines (Blade, Twig, Smarty)
• Proficiency with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• Strong coding standards, quality focus, and teamwork
• Willingness to work in an English-speaking environment
