Job Description

About your tasks:

• Take the lead in our search domain, designing, building, and scaling production-grade search systems for e-commerce use cases.
• Conduct experiments and analyses and transform insights into innovative technical solutions that boost search relevance and user satisfaction.
• Enable your colleagues by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and supporting the growth of search expertise within the team.
• Drive end-to-end data science workflows, from problem definition through model deployment and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and AI teams to build impactful data-driven products.

Qualifications

About you:

• You have a M.Sc. in Computer Science, or a similar field and a solid academic background, ideally in (interactive) Information Retrieval, or a related field. A Ph.D. in that domain is a Plus.
• You bring hands-on experience building and running search systems in production, especially within e-commerce environments.
• You have a customer-centric mindset and you understand how to measure business impact.
• You're someone who enjoys enabling others, sharing your knowledge and uplifting team capabilities.
• You thrive in an environment that values exploration and long-term impact.
