The Position

Tasks & responsibilities
  • In this role, you will design and implement end‑to‑end data science use cases by analyzing business challenges, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivering scalable solutions that align with business and IT needs.
  • Leveraging your expertise, you will develop cutting‑edge analytics engines, formulate hypotheses with domain experts, and identify the most suitable algorithms to address complex problems effectively.
  • You will take ownership of establishing best practices for data operations, ensuring compliance, and monitoring data science models in production while applying agile methodologies to drive success.
  • By building strong relationships with business units, you will translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights, enabling data‑driven decision‑making and quickly acquiring domain knowledge in diverse areas.
  • Through active networking, you will connect with internal and external partners, promote data science literacy, and foster collaboration by sharing innovative ideas, experiments, and key learnings.
  • Your contributions will also include enhancing the data ecosystem by improving access to scalable data and driving knowledge exchange to support the development of customer‑centric solutions.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as theoretical physics, mathematics, computer science, bioinformatics
  • Several years of relevant work experience in data science
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and C++, with experience in data visualization and exploratory analysis
  • Experience with big data and unstructured data, including Hadoop and Spark
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and deliver actionable insights
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
