Job Description Summary

The role will lead complex services contractual negotiations with customers and develop technical and commercial offerings aligned with GEs and customers KPIs. The Services Commercial Leader shall support the ONW Sales & Commercial and the Operations team to reach the financial target to secure Wind Equipment orders in Central Europe. The role shall also provide training and coaching to the ONW Sales and commercial team on negotiation of standard T&Cs for services contracts and Risk Process (Cost Model R Review RAMP and DOA). Development and implementation of new commercial terms for Services contracts. This role does not have direct reports and will report to the Services Commercial Director for EMEA.

The Services Commercial Leader shall mainly support the German market as well as other opportunities in EMEA as well.

The Services Commercial Leader will support the ONW (Onshore Wind) Sales & Commercial and the Operations teams to reach the financial targets and secure Wind Equipment orders in Central Europe.

Your Mission

YOU will drive complex contract negotiations develop technical and commercial offerings aligned with GE and customer KPIs support sales and operations to secure wind equipment orders in Central Europe (primarily Germany) train teams on contract and risk processes and report to the Services Commercial Director for EMEA.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with GEs risk process and provide technical financial and commercial input for transactions
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and develop templates for new service offerings in coordination with stakeholders
  • Drive success in Germany by derisking key agreements and overseeing new commercial terms in Services DOA (Delegation of Authority)
  • Improve proposals continuously to meet market needs with fast lean and competitive solutions
  • Mobilize and coordinate crossfunctional teams (engineering finance legal product line etc.) to implement transaction strategies
  • Support sales of service contracts by aligning internal functions and contributing to renewables financial goals
  • Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives within ITO (Inquiry to Order) ensuring rigor simplification and achievement of team metrics
  • Provide business feedback and support for new product introductions planning forecasting and customerfocused solutions
Your Profile
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role; sales marketing commercial operations or customer service within wind or energy industry
  • Proven skills in proposals contracts negotiations and customer specification reviews
  • Strong commercial finance knowledge to build and analyse business cases and demonstrate project ROI
  • Excellent communication presentation and teambuilding abilities with trustful customer relationships
  • Sales leadership and ability to manage multiple transactions while driving commercial processes
  • Fluency in German and English plus willingness to travel for customer visits and training
