Ein innovatives Unternehmen im Bereich nachhaltige Lithiumgewinnung sucht einen erfahrenen Senior Claim Manager in Karlsruhe. In dieser vollzeit Stellung sind Sie verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Implementierung des Claim Managements in CAPEX Projekten. Sie bringen mindestens 10 Jahre Erfahrung im strategischen Einkauf oder Claim Management mit und haben Erfahrung in der Führung interdisziplinärer Teams. Zudem bieten wir flexible Arbeitszeiten und 30 Tage Urlaub.

Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung im strategischen Einkauf oder Claim Management für komplexe technische Projekte.
• Erfahrung in der Führung interdisziplinärer und/oder internationaler Teams.
• Ausgezeichnete Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse erforderlich.

We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full‑time (40 hours per week) as Senior Claim Manager (m/f/d).

Das erwartet Dich bei uns

• You establish and further develop the Claim Management across Vulcan Energy’s CAPEX projects.
• You act as the lead negotiator and expert for high‑level claims, counterclaims, variations, and dispute‑related matters.
• You design, implement, and continuously improve claim management frameworks, processes, and governance structures.
• You develop and maintain claim management and contract playbooks, guidelines, templates, and best practices for project and procurement teams, including Contract Excellence.
• You advise and coach project, procurement, and contract management teams on claims prevention, contractual interpretation, and risk mitigation.
• You coordinate claim‑related topics with Legal, external advisors, and senior internal stakeholders.
• You ensure transparent reporting of claim exposure, opportunities, and financial impact to project and senior management.
• You capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of commercial and contractual execution across projects.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

• You have a completed degree (Master’s) in a commercial or technical field – ideally in business law, business engineering, or civil engineering.
• You bring 10 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or claim management for complex technical projects.
• You have experience in leading interdisciplinary and/or international teams.
• You impress with analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
• You work in a structured, self‑reliant manner and enjoy being a sparring partner.
• You have excellent German and good English skills.
