Your mission:

Join our partner Fidectus a Swiss-based energy tech company founded in early 2019. They enable energy traders of all sizes to digitize and automate over-the-counter cross-company post-trade processing. Their Global Energy Network (GEN) connects clients to all market participants and enables them to benefit from tools for confirmation regulatory reporting settlement netting financing and payment. Their innovative fully cloud-based technology provides energy traders with tools to reduce their operational risk and cost improve their collaboration and let them improve their working capital.

Join us in disrupting post-trade processing in the over the counter (OTC) energy trading market.

As a Software Developer with a passion for coding you will be a key member in a small dev team creating a highly interactive event-driven product.

What you'll do:

The Senior Software Developer plays an important part in our companys product development lifecycle. Working within a small Agile dev team you will work closely with developers and product managers to design plan and implement product and platform features.

• Build high-quality clean scalable code by promoting best software engineering patterns practices processes and architecture
• Work with product managers to understand and adapt requirements
• Own implementation from design through test automation and documentation
• Design schema and interfaces that are simple and allow customers to use features and APIs to meet their specific needs
• Deliver rapid iterations of software based on feedback and metrics
• Design and implement new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the software framework specific features and cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to the adoption of frameworks standards and new technologies

Who you are:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and schema design
• Experience updating sophisticated enterprise-scale services
• Backend technologies : Java Spring Boot MongoDB AWS
• Comfortable with a customer-focused high-paced environment
• Well-versed in Agile methodology and experience in software development lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
• Good written and spoken English language skills
