Overview

In our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you as

Tasks with impact
  • Continuous optimization of group-wide supply chain planning processes

  • Focus on the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region (core market Poland as well as other markets in Central East and the Baltics)

  • Rollout to other CEE markets: Validation of the individual implementation steps (data, interfaces, forecast model) for the technical integration of new countries into an existing Forecast & Replenishment tool (Relex)

  • Data-driven working: Analysis in Relex regarding stock coverage, safety stocks, forecast bias & accuracy, data quality, master data, etc.

  • Forecast Management: Monitoring and analysis of forecasts, identification of major outliers, adjustments, and derivation of action measures, e.g., adjustments to the forecast model or carrying out forecast corrections

  • Daily tracking of operationally relevant KPIs such as product availability and inventory via the Relex software, including root-cause analysis for inventory levels, out-of-stocks, and more

  • Preparing decision-making foundations to improve the configuration in our Forecasting & Replenishment tool (Relex), as well as testing implementations

  • Preparation and presentation of part of the monthly SteerCos with the management boards (incl. CEO and CFO) of the responsible countries

  • Close coordination with Demand Planners and Relex Super Users, as well as relevant interfaces from other departments

  • Relex: Forecast and replenishment software. Previous knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory due to comprehensive training during onboarding and the software’s user-friendliness

Your skills
  • Passion for retail, e-commerce, international collaboration — and maybe even for beauty products

  • Experience in demand management and/or purchasing/supply chain, or a different but highly analytical field

  • Understanding of the rules and methods of forecast calculation

  • Experience with advanced root-cause analyses to best link business needs with a data-driven way of working

  • Strong affinity for numbers and accuracy, and great enthusiasm for analytics

  • Very good Excel skills; knowledge of Power Pivot, Power BI, Tableau, etc., is an advantage

  • Fluent in English & German; additional languages are a plus

  • Positive mindset: openness, high self-motivation, enjoyment of work, hands-on mentality, and a passion for teamwork

  • Passion and commitment: State-of-the-art is your standard — and together we shape demand management within Group Supply Chain at Douglas
