Responsibilities:
You will be part of one of the most exciting renewable energy markets, working in a multi-layered function focused on expanding the company's market position – from Business Development to contract conclusion. Due to increasingly close networking, this position can be based in Cologne or another German location. Below is an outline of the tasks:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, project partners, consultants, agents, etc.
  • Identify potential projects and gather relevant information for internal screening, promotion, and focus on projects and contracts
  • Create budget proposals
  • Manage and oversee the proposal team and project (technical and commercial) from tender to contract completion
  • Lead customer or consortium contract negotiations in collaboration with the proposal team
  • Develop marketing strategies and define measures for their successful implementation
  • Provide active feedback on current technical trends and market position related to products and offers to ensure competitiveness
  • Initiate research and development activities to establish new products and improve business and sales processes
  • Collaborate with and lobby in areas relevant to market position, associations, or institutions
Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed studies, ideally with a technical and economic focus
  • Several years of experience in sales, offer management, and project-related management in international plant construction projects
  • Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for technical processes and systems, including their complex connections
  • Good understanding of commercial and contractual concepts in plant engineering
  • Good knowledge of the market and its competitive forces
  • Excellent moderation and negotiation skills, with well-founded interview techniques and closing confidence
  • Business-fluent spoken and written German and English; additional languages are advantageous
