Siemens Energy in Erlangen seeks an SAP Project System Consultant to join our SAP Center of Expertise in the Digital Process Transformation team. You will partner with global contacts to translate business needs into SAP PS requirements for end-to-end project processes.

Requirements include a university degree and strong SAP PS/S/4HANA expertise; you will support change management, data migration, training, and documentation while coordinating with internal and external service providers.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in computer science, business management, management information systems or equivalent certifications/experience.
• Longstanding experience in business process design for solution/engineer-to-order business.
• Strong background in SAP PS processes and configuration, end-to-end project scope including manufacturing and delivery in global environments.
• Knowledge of S/4 HANA and ability to read code and understand PS data model in SAP.
• Able to consistently meet business requirements via standard solutions, with reliability and motivation.

A Snapshot of Your Day

The SAP Project System Consultant will join our Center of Expertise for SAP in the Digital Process Transformation team. This role will embrace an exciting and challenging daily environment with our project and solution business, monitoring the resulting demands on SAP processes. As an SAP Project System Consultant, you will partner with key business contacts globally to understand business needs and convert them into functional requirements. The focus is on end-to-end processes for large-scale projects including the manufacturing and the delivery processes.

• Global demand management, process consulting & business support.
• Realize change requests as part of Application or Project Enhancements.
• As part of the implementation of change requests, creation of concepts and solutions for data migration, change management, training and documentation.
• Coordinate and participate in regular meetings with our internal and external service provider.
• Support our company on our journey to SAP S/4 HANA.

What You Bring

• University degree in computer science, business management, management information systems or equivalent technical certifications/educational achievements/work experience.
• Longstanding experience in business process design in the area of solution/engineer-to-order business.
• Strong background in SAP PS (Project System) processes and configuration in SAP. This includes in-depth knowledge of possible different processes that can be handled with PS in connection with other SAP modules. The focus is on end-to-end processes for large-scale projects including the manufacturing and the delivery processes, which are typically carried out in a global environment. Knowledge of rules and the framework for this are needed.
• S/4 HANA experience and the ability to read the code and know how PS data model in SAP is structured.
• Consistently meet business requirements through the standard solution used. Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Ability to analyze, strategize and troubleshoot regularly; strong focus on resolution for all partners involved. Excellent communication, multi-tasking capabilities, time management and organizational skills!
