Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

This role is being created new as essential support and backup for our key procurement subject matter expert involved in the company-wide S/4HANA implementation. As a Specialist Professional (P4) within the Procurement Controls & Digitalization Projects team, this position is critical for the successful execution and maintenance of the S4E-Unify ERP template. To ensure a seamless ERP transformation, this role focuses on three core areas: direct involvement in the S/4HANA rollout and project management, detailed business requirements and process optimization, and the technical management of associated tools and interfaces. This structure ensures the position covers the strategic, tactical, and operational demands of the transformation project. Given the focus on ERP implementation within a procurement context, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in procurement and logistics, combined with a proven track record in large-scale ERP transformation projects, specifically with SAP S/4HANA. Expertise in process analysis, requirements engineering, and stakeholder management in a global setting is essential for success.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Support the ERP Business Owner in planning, steering, and decision preparation for the S/4HANA (2023) rollout; Drive the implementation and rollout of S/4HANA in close collaboration with the Business Owner, IT, and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage S4E-Unify template activities across Procurement, Logistics, Service, and Projects, coordinating with Key Users and Subject Matter Experts; Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams including Business, IT, Data, Test, and Deployment to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Manage the end-to-end requirements lifecycle by creating, documenting, and tracking Change Requests (CRs) and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Analyze, design, and automate business processes to drive standardization, harmonization, and continuous improvement within the ERP landscape.
  • Act as a key liaison between business departments and IT to translate functional needs into technical specifications; Support testing phases (FIT/ITC/UAT), cutover planning and hypercare support post go-live.
  • Assume responsibility for current ERP tool and interface landscape, including Servcon Easy, EPDH, and KANLOG and future S/4HANA; Manage and ensure the stability of key data interfaces (e.g., TTL1/TTL2, EPDH, KSP), ensuring master data availability; Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP systems, data flows, and integrations in collaboration with technical teams.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in Procurement, Logistics, and project-based business environments.
  • Proven track record in managing or participating in large-scale ERP transformation projects, specifically with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Technical & Process Skills: SAP Applications (S/4HANA, ARIBA), Process Improvement, Requirements Engineering (BRD/CR Creation), Interface Management (RFC, EDI, SnapLogic), Procurement Software (Servcon, EPDH, KANLOG, KSP).
  • Business & Domain Knowledge in Procurement, Logistics Management, Project Business Management and Supply Chain Management
  • Professional fluency in both Germany and English; willingness and ability to travel mainly within Germany
