We are looking for SAP Basis Consultants for our growing team in India.

This consultant will support, maintain, and optimize SAP landscapes across on-premise, public cloud, private cloud, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments.

The role requires strong technical proficiency in SAP BASIS and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas time zones.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP BASIS administration including system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management, and issue resolution.
• Support SAP systems across ECC, S/4HANA On-Premise, RISE Private Cloud, S/4HANA Public Cloud, and SAP BTP.
• Manage SAP BTP services, subaccounts, entitlements, connectivity, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Handle installation, upgrades, patches, kernel updates, and database administration (primarily HANA DB).
• Conduct system refreshes, client copies, and environment build activities.
• Support integrations between SAP systems and SAP BTP, including Cloud Connector configuration and destination setup.
• Ensure system availability, stability, and adherence to global IT and security standards.
• Collaborate with global teams for incidents, change requests, deployments, and scheduled maintenance.
• Participate in follow-the-sun operations, including meetings and handovers across multiple time zones.
• Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, landscape diagrams, and operational guides.

Your Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP BASIS and BTP administration.
• Strong understanding of:
• SAP NetWeaver & S/4HANA architecture
• HANA database management
• SAP BTP administration (mandatory) → subaccounts, services, entitlements, connectivity, security
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted SAP systems (AWS/Azure/GCP/RISE).
• Knowledge of transport management, system monitoring, performance troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector, IAS/IPS, and identity integrations.
• Understanding of backup/restore concepts and system copy workflows.
