Job summary

People S Place is seeking an international Sales Support & Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d), fluent in Italian and English, to support international clients from Unterensingen. The role includes order entry, inquiry responses, and coordination with shipping.

The ideal candidate has commercial training or equivalent and strong MS Word/Excel skills, with experience in international customer service. German is a plus, and a hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Enter, process and expedition daily orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly.
• Coordinate special shipping instructions with Shipping Dept.
• Monitor production status for orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Understand international trade terms (L/C, Proforma, CAD, Origin).
• Support the International Sales Team with various tasks.

Detail job description

• Being the primary point person responsible for managing and communicating with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Handling daily order entry, processing and expedition of orders.
• Responding to customer requests and inquiries.
• Coordinating special shipping instructions with the Shipping Department.
• Monitoring the production status.
• Understanding the language of International Business, including Letter of Credit, Proforma, CAD's (Cash Against Documents), Certificate of Origin and Export freight terms.
• Assisting the International Sales Team with various functions.

Requirements

• Commercial training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills in Italian and English. German is a plus
• International Customer Service experience is highly appreciated
• Advanced computer skills/proficiency in MS Word, Excel, TEAMS and Microsoft Office
• Being well organized and capable of handling a variety of issues and assignments
• Independent and structured way of working
• Having good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Being able to build customer relationships
