A biopharmaceutical company located in Munich, Germany, is seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support the DACH Commercial Department. This role involves coordinating sales and marketing activities, managing promotional materials, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in German and English, along with strong organizational and project management skills, are essential for success in this position.
Cytokinetics is a late-stage specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing first-in-class muscle activators and next-in-class muscle inhibitors as potential treatments for debilitating diseases in which cardiac muscle performance is compromised. As a leader in muscle biology and the mechanics of muscle performance, the company is developing small‑molecule drug candidates specifically engineered to impact myocardial muscle function and contractility.
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a vital cross‑functional role within the DACH Commercial Department reporting directly to the Commercial Director DACH. This position supports the efficient planning and execution of key sales and marketing activities, serving as an operational backbone to the Commercial Team.
Acting as a crucial interface between the Commercial Director, Product Managers, external agencies and internal stakeholders (including Medical Affairs, Legal and Procurement), the role ensures the timely coordination and implementation of promotional materials, sponsorships and event logistics. A key responsibility is managing the required contracting and approval processes (e.g. MLR approval process) and handling the submission and tracking of materials via Veeva PromoMats, as well as external vendor contracts for example sponsorship and speaker engagements in Germany.
The ideal candidate brings structure, diligence, compliance awareness and executional excellence to the day‑to‑day commercial operations, contributing directly to the successful implementation of marketing initiatives and sales support activities. Attention to detail, proactive communication and efficient, reliable process coordination are essential for success in this role.
