We have partnered with a leading European Ingredients & Chemicals Distributor to recruit for a Sales Director. This pivotal commercial leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team across the German market.

As Sales Director, you will manage key customer relationships, develop strategic sales initiatives, and oversee commercial execution across food, nutrition, chemical, and industrial segments. You will be accountable for strengthening the company’s presence with manufacturers, brand owners, and formulation partners while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
  • 8–12+ years of commercial experience within ingredients, chemicals, or specialty distribution.
  • Proven track record driving B2B sales growth in the German market.
  • Existing network within food, nutrition, chemical, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong leadership experience managing sales teams or key account functions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build long‑term customer partnerships.
  • Fluent in German and English.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the German sales team to achieve revenue, margin, and market growth targets.
