Overview

Our client is one of the largest global players in the steel trading industry, with over 100 offices worldwide. Headquartered in Düsseldorf for its European operations, the company is renowned for its robust supply chain network and long-standing expertise in steel-related trading.

To support continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team in Düsseldorf. This role offers a dynamic environment with international exposure and the opportunity to contribute to strategic sales operations.

Responsibilities
  • Logistic arrangement and coordination
  • Optimization and cost study / negotiation support of logistics
  • Inventory management
  • Receiving and sending out products
  • Customer account management
  • Order Processing
  • Design and optimization of internal and external customer care processes
  • Monitor and improve KPIs
  • Support the Sales Manager in the preparation of the price quote and cost study
  • Other sales administration
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination, trade administration, or sales assistant roles (experience working in Germany is a plus)
  • Business-level proficiency in both English and German. Japanese is a plus
