Your mission
- Project Coordination & Management
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of EU Horizon Europe projects and national research projects.
- Support project planning, implementation, timelines, and deliverable tracking.
- Manage communication between internal teams, external partners, and funding bodies.
- Research Strategy & Opportunity Identification
- Identify and evaluate new research calls and funding opportunities that align with CAALA’s product direction and market needs.
- Support the development of new project concepts and proposals grounded in user needs and product strategy.
- Grant & Reporting Support
- Prepare, review, and submit technical and administrative project reports.
- Assist in drafting proposals for EU and national funding opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with EU, national, and internal regulations and reporting requirements.
- Financial & Administrative Management
- Support budget monitoring, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with finance and administration departments to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Organize and participate in consortium meetings, workshops, and dissemination activities.
- Act as a primary contact for project partners and stakeholders across Europe.
- Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and communication logs.
- Monitor risks and help develop mitigation strategies for ongoing projects.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental sciences, project management, social sciences).
- 2 – 3 years of experience coordinating EU-funded research projects (Horizon Europe or Horizon 2020).
- Experience managing German national research grants (e.g., DFG, BMBF, BMWK) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of EU funding frameworks, regulations, and reporting platforms (e.g., Funding & Tenders Portal).
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written German and English is required for this position.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international, interdisciplinary environment.
