About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations, supporting business operations, and contributing to regulatory strategy and foresight. You will work across regions and functions, providing expert guidance on chemical safety, regulatory submissions, and product stewardship.

The following challenges await you
  • In your role as Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist you will conduct impact assessments for chemical and related regulations.
  • Provide regulatory foresight and monitor emerging legislation.
  • You will work with industry associations to align with regulatory developments and handle EU notifications of chemicals and chemical products.
  • Furthermore, you manage chemical registrations globally with a particular focus on EMEAI.
  • Your responsibilities will also include using IUCLID, REACH-IT, and other regulatory platforms for submissions and maintaining regulatory data in SAP and other IT systems.
  • You will handle customer queries and support our Operating Companies with regulatory issues, ideally advising these on toxicological and ecotoxicological matters.
  • Last but not least, you have extensive experience in the use of project management tools and MS Office.
Your Profile
  • Master’s or bachelor’s Degree in Inorganic Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Familiarity with EU regulations is a must and additionally in non-EU regulations (e.g., TSCA, K-REACH, etc.) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and regulatory IT tools
  • Experience with IUCLID, REACH-IT, and CLP notifications
  • Confident use of MS Office applications, SAP knowledge desirable
  • Expertise in CLP, GHS, and Dangerous Goods regulations is an advantage
  • Hands-on SDS authoring experience would be an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken skills in German and English
