A leading aerospace company in Germany is seeking a Propellant Supply & Management Engineer to design and analyze propellant supply systems for innovative aerospace vehicles. Qualifikationen

  • Successfully completed aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.).
  • Experience in propellant management system design for aerospace vehicle preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with assembling, testing and troubleshooting fluid systems.

  • Design and analyze propellant supply systems for a two-stage winged hypersonic UAV.
  • Define specifications for valves, solenoid valves, and safety components.
  • Define operation and safety procedures for the fluid system.

Your mission
  • Design and Analysis of propellant supply systems for a two-stage winged hypersonic UAV within the project HYTEV
  • Design and Analysis of tank systems for kerosene and liquid oxygen applications
  • Design and interpretation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) based on requirements and functional needs
  • Define and verify key performance parameters, such as flow rates, pressures, and efficiency, through simulation and testing
  • Define specifications for valves, solenoid valves, control valves, pressure regulators, pressure vessels and safety components
  • Fluid system component selection, trade-off studies and procurement
  • Simulation and analysis of system behaviour
  • Design fluid system parts and assemblies in CAD
  • Define operation and safety procedures for the fluid system
