As Project Purchaser, your work will focus on these responsibilities :

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders, order monitoring, confirmations, rescheduling and processing of non-conformities.
• Actively develop the way of working in cooperation with process development.
• Monitor and report supplier performance.
• Maintain master data in relevant systems in defined area of responsibility.
• Active involvement in supplier selection process for responsible projects.
• Support or lead project related supplier negotiations in collaboration with the strategic purchaser.
• Creating and maintaining needed information in SAP.
• Actively develop teamwork in own team and build commitment.
• Close cooperation with internal and / or external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have :

• Commercial or technical education (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
• 2-3 years of experience in purchasing of large systems and / or solutions.
• Experience in contract and price negotiations.
• Background in material planning is an advantage.
• Technical background in electrical and / or automation is a benefit, but not a demand.
• Active approach to work.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Target and result oriented attitude.
• Service mind set, openness and flexibility, as well as the ability to make things happen.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our suppliers. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
