As Project Lead you will support global drug development programs from early development through to worldwide regulatory this role you will lead the cross‑functional project management effort ensuring that timelines interdependencies and critical deliverables are aligned across all contributing functions. You will serve as the central operational driver to keep the project team coordinated on track and focused on achieving key development milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global project management activities for assigned drug‑development programs ensuring coordinated execution across key functions such as clinical, regulatory, CMC, safety, medical, biostatistics and operations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project timelines with clear critical‑path awareness; track progress, manage risks and ensure transparent communication of milestones and deliverables.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment by coordinating interdependencies, facilitating efficient handovers and ensuring that all functions meet their commitments within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues proactively; collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and resolve challenges that may impact program success.
  • Prepare high‑quality project updates and documentation for governance and leadership reviews ensuring operational excellence through effective meetings, action tracking and clear documentation of decisions.
Qualifications
  • You hold a degree in life sciences (or equivalent); an advanced degree (e.g. MSc, PharmD, PhD) is preferred.
  • You bring proven experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with substantial involvement in global drug development programs from early development through to global regulatory approval.
  • You have a proven track record of managing complex cross‑functional projects in a matrix environment with strong project planning, timeline management and organizational skills.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and are highly proficient in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet or equivalent).
  • You are execution‑focused, accountable and able to lead by influence in a matrixed team environment. You anticipate challenges, bring structure to complexity and drive decisions forward.
