Job summary

meteocontrol sucht eine/n Ingenieur/in für die fachgerechte Inbetriebnahme von Überwachungs- und Steuerungssystemen für PV-, BESS- oder Hybrid-Anlagen. Sie arbeiten sowohl remote als auch vor Ort in Deutschland und international und übernehmen den SCADA-Umfang sowie die Netz- und Grid-Integration.

Sie arbeiten eng mit dem Projektmanagement zusammen, koordinieren Anforderungen mit Kunden und Netzbetreibern und lösen komplexe technische Herausforderungen mit einem lösungsorientierten Mindset.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium in Elektro-/Automatisierungstechnik oder verwandtem Bereich.
• Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und analytische Fähigkeiten.
• Ausgeprägter Kundenfokus und lösungsorientiertes Denken.
• Hervorragende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Teamplayer mit proaktivem Auftreten und Bereitschaft zur Übernahme von Ownership.

Responsibilities

• Inbetriebnahme von Überwachungs- und Steuerungssystemen (SCADA) per Fern- oder Vor-Ort-Einsatz.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projektmanagement und Verantwortung für SCADA-Umfang (Fernsteuerung, Monitoring, Netzintegration).
• Koordination technischer Anforderungen mit Kunden, Versorgern und Netzbetreibern.
• Lösungsorientiertes Vorgehen bei technischen Herausforderungen und Definition von Netzwerksicherheitsmaßnahmen.

• Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale photovoltaic, BESS or hybrid power plants in Germany and internationally
• Collaborate closely with project management and take responsibility for the SCADA scope (plant control, monitoring, power control, grid integration)
• Coordinate technical requirements with customers, utilities, and grid operators to develop optimal solutions
• Tackle technical challenges with a solution-driven mindset and a passion for innovation
• Implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures
• Utilize PLCs and RTUs for protocol conversion, plant automation, power control, and other SCADA functionalities

Your Mission

Your Profile

• Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or a related field
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Strong interest in technical problem-solving and innovation
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
• Comfortable working in a project-based environment
• Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning tasks
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
