Job summary

meteocontrol GmbH seeks a project-driven professional to design and develop plant-specific monitoring and feed-in management solutions for utility-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid plants across Germany and international markets.

You will take full ownership of projects from order to handover, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. A self-driven, hands-on engineer with strong communication will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in project management and industrial monitoring/controls.
• Hands-on, self-driven approach to work.
• Ability to tackle technical challenges and solve complex problems.
• Customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Team spirit, initiative, ownership mindset.
• Confident, entrepreneurial personality with accountability and results orientation.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop monitoring solutions for PV, BESS, and hybrid plants.
• Take full ownership of projects from order to handover.
• Ensure delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical input to Sales and pre-sales activities.
• Create technical concepts and proposals.
• Support contract preparation with Sales.
• Serve as the link between customers and meteocontrol.

Your mission:

• Design and develop plant-specific monitoring and feed-in management solutions for utility-scale PV, BESS, and hybrid power plants in Germany and international markets
• Take full ownership of projects from order to completion and final handover to customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure successful project delivery with regard to scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives
• Lead and coordinate change management activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical expertise and support to Sales and Proposal Management during the proposal phase (pre-sales)
• Create technical concept drafts and proposals
• Support the Sales department in the preparation of project contracts
• Serve as the link and figurehead between customers and meteocontrol

Your profile:
