Job summary

meteocontrol GmbH in Berlin sucht eine/n Electrical Engineer für Fern- und Vor-Ort-Inbetriebnahme von Monitoring- und Steuerungssystemen für PV-, BESS- oder Hybridanlagen.

Sie arbeiten eng mit dem Projektmanagement zusammen, tragen die SCADA-Verantwortung und koordinieren Anforderungen mit Kunden, Versorgern und Netzbetreibern. Reisebereitschaft ist erwünscht und Innovation treibt Ihre Arbeit an.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium/Ausbildung in relevanten technischen Bereichen.
• Ausgeprägte Problemlösungskompetenz und Innovation.
• Kundenorientierung und lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten.
• Gute Kommunikations- und Organisationsfähigkeiten.
• Teamplayer mit eigenverantwortlicher Arbeitsweise.

Responsibilities

• Fern- und Vor-Ort-Inbetriebnahme von Monitoring- und Steuerungssystemen.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projektmanagement und Verantwortung für SCADA-Umfänge.
• Technische Anforderungen mit Kunden, Netzbetreibern und Versorgern abstimmen.
• Technische Herausforderungen mit lösungsorientiertem Mindset angehen.
• Netzwerk- und Cybersicherheitsmaßnahmen implementieren und definieren.
• PLCs und RTUs für Protokollkonvertierung, Automatisierung und Leistungssteuerung einsetzen.

About us

Your mission:

• Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale photovoltaic, BESS or hybrid power plants in Germany and internationally
• Collaborate closely with project management and take responsibility for the SCADA scope (plant control, monitoring, power control, grid integration)
• Coordinate technical requirements with customers, utilities, and grid operators to develop optimal solutions
• Tackle technical challenges with a solution-driven mindset and a passion for innovation
• Implement and help define network and cybersecurity measures
• Utilize PLCs and RTUs for protocol conversion, plant automation, power control, and other SCADA functionalities

Your profile:

• Degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, automation technology, communications engineering, or a related field
• Independent and structured approach to work

• Comfortable working in a project-based environment
